DTA Student Anti-Racism Group

This term, Dixons Trinity Academy's anti-racism group held their first meeting. They agreed on key behaviours for the meetings going forwards including: showing awareness to sensitive topics, not putting others under pressure to share, keeping each other safe, and being open minded. Students also discussed successes and next steps linked to anti-racism at DTA and are looking forward to considering these in more detail in future meetings. Next time, students will focus on identity and exploring the range of different cultures represented in the group. A key quote from this week's session was "No matter the race or religion, we are all standing together in the human race"
