Dixons at Leeds Trinity University's Race, Equity and Social Justice Conference

On Wednesday, Dixons Academies Trust were represented at Leeds Trinity University's Race, Equity and Social Justice Conference. Funmi Stewart, Trust AP for Research and Development for Anti-Racism, and Maryam Kapree, Dixons Trinity Academy alumnus were part of a panel discussing the lived experiences of racism which students experience. They were joined by Uzayr Khan, another Dixons Trinity alumnus, and Haris Ahmed, a Dixons City alumnus who delivered a fantastic piece of spoken word poetry. It was wonderful to see so many members of Team Dixons fighting for change. Well done Team Dixons!
