Thomas Hailwood

Acting Senior Vice Principal

Tom joined Dixons Trinity as part of the Teach First programme in 2016. He became Head of History in 2017, leading the department to record results in successive years.

He then took on roles as Head of Year 11 and Teaching and Learning lead before joining the Senior Leadership Team in 2020.

Tom remains passionately committed to challenging educational and social disadvantage in the North. He spent a term seconded as Interim Principal of Dixons Newall Green Academy in 2024, before returning to Trinity.
